We have a 25 year old deck that was starting to have some dry rot problems. Wasn't sure who to call because you just never know about some contractors. They talk a good game but then never get the job done right. I called Scott and he came by and gave me an estimate. They were able to start the job fairly quickly and estimated that it would take a week to complete. Two to four workers SHOWED UP EVERY DAY and after taking more things apart they found more problems (nearly all of the posts and girders in this photo were replaced) which added another week to the now very difficult project. I was very surprised by how diligent he and his crew were to get the job done completely without cutting corners. You won't go wrong by calling Thrasher Construction. Highly recommended.

Scott came out to give us an estimate for some deck repairs within a day of us calling him. We were sent the written estimate the following day. When we contacted him about doing the job he scheduled the repairs for the very next week. Other contractors I called never even returned my call. He and his crew did excellent work and completed extensive repairs in a single day and went above and beyond in providing additional work not noted on the estimate. We would definitely have Scott build us a new deck when needed. He takes pride in his work and cares about serving his clients.

Scott was excellent! He's knowledgeable, professional and a great communicator. He got the big repair job done at a good rate. He even built a step on his own initiative! His wife in the office was real helpful too. Give them a call--you'll be glad you did!

Scott replaced my old deck from the ground up with trex. Scott, listen to what I wanted and even suggested some improvements. He gave a fair price ,completed the job even before the timeframe he specified.

We originally contacted Scott Thrasher because we knew he worked on decks. That was just the beginning because we were impressed with his work. Through the better part of a year he and his crew dealt effectively with a variety of jobs that had to be done to bring our 35 year old hour back to like-new condition. They smoothly coordinated their jobs with our painting contractor, installing bathroom windows, rebuilding a stairway, replacing major vertical beams on our pole house, rebuilding large sections of the deck, including installing massive new support beams, repairing and refinishing drywall...the list could continue. Thrasher Construction worked in a highly professional manner, scheduling the work to be done and actually showing up when they said they would. In addition, they offered suggestions for better ways of doing repairs than we had envisioned... and the ideas worked. We can without hesitation recommend Scott and his crew for virtually any kind of home repair or improvement project. We hope we will never again have to face such a large and complex home-repair project, but we are thankful that when this one had to be done we found Thrasher Construction to work with us.

Scott came out quickly to give me a bid to replace some dry rot on a deck and in front of a sliding glass door, that was found during a pest inspection. Not only did his bid come in well below the pest inspector's bid, but he did the work quickly and professionally and did not go over his bid. I was very happy with the finish work, and I got a clear pest report from the inspector.
